Timothy Jarrett Obituary

Timothy Steven Jarrett, 55, of Union Pier died Thursday, June 22, 2023, in the comfort of his family's presence.

His life began Oct. 13, 1967, in Hammond, Ind., one of two boys born to Steven Takacs and Karen Jarrett.

Tim was a man of many hats, musician, carpenter, Free and Accepted Mason, and family man. He expressed his devotion, love and compassion for not only his family, but humanity in every way possible. He had a quick and vast mind, an excellent homebody for advice and reassurance – something he was always willing to give.

Tim will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by three daughters, Katlyn Jarrett of Three Oaks, Samantha (Kalab Bramlett) Jarrett of Michigan City, Ind., Angela Wieczorek of Buchanan; one son, David Spaulding of New Troy; two grandchildren, Charlotte, Natalie; brother, Chris (Char) Takacs of Merrillville, Ind.; and a host of extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Family and friends will gather from noon until time of service at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 25, 2023, in Wagner Family Funerals Pobocik Chapel, 106 Ash Street East, Three Oaks.

Tim will be laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery, Chikaming Township.

The family prefers contributions in memory of Tim be made to The Masonic Charitable Foundation, 1200 Wright Avenue, Alma, Michigan 48801.
