Timothy Chalmer Knox

Timothy Chalmer Knox, 39, of Waynesboro, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2010, at the University of Virginia Medical Center.

Born Thursday, August 20, 1970, he was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend.

He was the owner and operator of Brown Exterminating Company. In his spare time he enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, being outdoors, the beach, playing guitar and cooking.

Survivors include his loving wife of 13 years, Shannon Knox; daughter, Kayla McKenzie Knox; mother, Linda Webster Jackson; father, Cliffton B. Knox; and step-mother, Barrie Ann Knox; brothers, Kevin Paul Knox and his wife, Molly, Bryan Vaughn Knox and his wife, Jen, and 2-E Knox and his fianc‚, Jaya; sisters, Molly Knox Sharp and her husband, Mike, and Little Barrie Knox; nieces and nephews, Ben, Hannah, Jacob, Sarah, Emma, Henry Knox and Sonny Sharp; as well as mother-in-law, Cara Pelfrey.

A celebration of his life will be held 12 p.m. Thursday, February 4, 2010, at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes, 618 West Main Street.

Memorial contributions may be made sent to Shannon Knox, 1021 Ladd Road, Waynesboro, VA 22980 to establish a trust fund for their daughter Kayla Knox.
