Timothy Milton Kring

Timothy Milton Kring of Point Blank, Texas passed from this life January 2023. Mr. Kring was born on January 16, 1946 in Orange, Texas. He graduated from Pine Tree High School in Longview, Texas in 1966 where he was a football player receiving all-regional and all-state honors. He then attended Stephen F. Austin college in Nacogdoches, Texas earning an associate degree in Petroleum Drafting. Over the years he was employed by Tenneco as a draftsman and Apache Oil Company as a geological draftsman. He was a veteran of the Vietnam war.
Mr. Kring was preceded in death by his parents, Denver Milton and Dora Elizabeth Kring and sister, Deborah Kay Barnes. He is survived by two brothers, David Anthony (Tony) Kring and wife, Teresa of Russellville, Arkansas; and James Ronald (Ronny) Kring and wife, Sheila of Prosper, Texas; one brother-in-law, Bill Barnes of Longview, Texas and a number of nieces and nephews.
His hobbies included touring many states on his motorcycle, hunting, fishing, and artistic drawings. He spent his retirement enjoying his home on Lake Livingston.
There will be a private graveside service at Memory Park Cemetery in Longview, Texas.
