Timothy Maddox, of Covington, passed away Monday, September 15, 2025, at the age of 65. Mr. Maddox, a devoted family man and the heart of many joyful moments, passed away leaving behind cherished memories and laughter. He found his greatest happiness in being with his loved ones and especially enjoyed watching his grandson play football, baseball, and wrestle. An avid tennis player and golfer himself, he remained active and full of life and loved poker. Known as the jokester of the family, Mr. Maddox had a gift for making people laugh and brightening every gathering. His warmth, humor, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Maddox and Helen Hollifield; and sister, Sue Stowe.
Survivors include his wife, Debra Maddox; daughter, Christy Baugh; son-in-Law, Robert Baugh; grandson, Jensen Baugh; brother, David Maddox (Michelle); as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service for Mr. Maddox will be held Saturday, September 20, 2025, 2:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Brother Terry Richardson and Bryan Hayes officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, one hour prior to his service, from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to https://donate.cancer.org/ for pancreatic or colon cancer.
