H. O’Neill Catterton (Neil), age 87, of Greensboro, peacefully passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025.
Neil was born in Screvan County to Willie and Jewel Weaver Catterton. He worked in the construction industry in Savannah, GA where he met and married the love of his life, Lynne Catterton. After moving to the Atlanta area, he continued working in construction and ultimately founded Catterton Interiors, Inc. in Conyers, Ga. Neil was a beloved softball and soccer coach and an avid hunter and fisherman. In his later years he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends at his beach home.
He is survived by his children, Katherine (Keith) Graham, of Rockmart, Sandra Fischer of Henderson, NV, Grant (Joby) Catterton of Buckhead, Duane (Jeanene) Catterton of Covington; grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank everyone at Merryvale Assisted Living in Oxford, and Longleaf Hospice of Covington for the compassionate care and comfort provided in his final days.
