Roger was employed with Weyerhaeuser until his retirement after 34 years of service.
He leaves his loving wife of 61 years, Sandra Jackson Catterton; his son, Roger Dale (Dena) Catterton; grandsons, Joshua Catterton and Cory (Harley) Catterton; great granddaughter, Bella Shae Catterton; step grandchildren, Damien and Vanessa; his brother, Ralph Terry (Kay) Catterton; sisters, Donna Kay Algood and Jeannie Carol Ihle and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Patty Jo Burnett and a brother, Michael Owen Gilliland.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18 at the Covington Funeral Home. There will be no formal funeral services and burial at Magnolia Gardens Cemetery will be private.
The family wishes to thank Crossroads Hospice for their care during this time.
