I am saddened to hear of Tim's passing. I knew him only as a business acquaintance but he was always super professional and diplomatic whenever we interacted. My deepest sympathies to his family & friends. Rest easy, Tim.

Tim was my first best friend. I am so thankful to have had him as a childhood friend many memories of fun playing at his house, wrestling with his brother, listening to records, The Maddys had the coolest army guys, Tim and I used to set them up in the driveway at their Hawthorne house and throw water balloons out Tim`s second story bedroom window to knock them down , so many good memories. thank you Tim for being my first best friend.

It is likley that no one reading this knows who I am, as I have yet to meet any of Tim's family, but I knew a bit about him.

I work at the Walgreens on the corner of Kenwood Avenue and West Arrowhead Road, where Tim was a regular and adored by our staff.

While I could never claim to truly know him, I can say that he was lucky to be cherished by so many. His demeanor was always positive in our store, and I never saw him without a grin on his face.

I was surprised to hear that he had passed, as he was, outwardly, a bright-eyed, healthy, active guy.

He typically came in towards the end of the morning or early afternoon to buy a few things and say hello.

He made it a point to break the small talk and ask us about what we were doing and how our day was instead of engaging in the humdrum about the weather or the road conditions. He had a sort of quiet charm about him.

To put an end to my rambling, I'll say this: My hope is that this message from a stranger serves to further prove that Tim touched the lives of those around him, including people that he only met briefly.

My thoughts are with his family and friends. I only regret that I didn't know him better.

We are so sad with the loss of our friend Tim. He left so many great memories for us to cherish and bring a smile. His family and Friends will miss him dearly.
Knowing that he is smiling down at us with his old hunting buddy Murphy at his side brings us comfort.
He will be truly missed and always remembered.
With Love and prayers, may God bless his soul.

Timothy it was a blessing to have been your big sister for 41+ years. I will love and think of you always. And also try to emulate the strength and courage that you showed in your long battle, when the time comes.
