Timothy Mauldin Obituary

Timothy Van Mauldin, 71, of Salisbury passed away on Monday, February 13, 2023 at his residence. Born in Stanly County on October 13, 1951, he was the son of Willie Crisco Pierce and the late Van Buren Mauldin. Mr. Mauldin was a 1969 graduate of Albemarle High School and went on to graduate from the University of South Carolina Physicians Assistant Program. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and Army, and retired from the US Army National Guard as a Colonel. He also retired from the W.G. Bill Hefner VA Medical Center. Mr. Mauldin loved coaching sports, fishing, golfing, and spending time with grandchildren. Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Clint, Van, Timothy Ross, Rhett, Bart, and Ty Mauldin; daughters, Carly and Dorothy Kate Mauldin, brother, Thomas Mauldin; ex-wife and friend, Faye Mauldin and 19 grandchildren. Service: 11:00 AM Friday, February 24, 2023 at Salisbury National Cemetery, 501 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury, NC 28144 with military honors conducted by the Lyerly Volunteer Joint Services Honor Guard.
