Timothy McCoy Obituary

Timothy Martin McCoy, age 69, of Marshall, Minnesota, passed away on October 4, 2025. He was born on December 5, 1955, to Leroy and June Virginia (Sens) McCoy.
Timothy was a respected partner in the family's tax accounting business, where his precision, dedication, and professionalism earned the trust and appreciation of many clients. He was known for his intelligence, loyalty, and willingness to help others whenever needed.
Timothy enjoyed movies and television, particularly Marvel productions, The Mandalorian, Star Wars, and Iron Man. He was an enthusiastic fan of the Minnesota Vikings and the Minnesota Twins and followed professional wrestling with interest. Beyond his work, he had a passion for computers, news, and Asian cuisine, and he especially enjoyed cooking and creating his own recipes. His favorite dishes included black-eyed peas and ham hocks, scotch, homemade pizzas, enhanced beef lo mein, and chili. He also enjoyed fishing and traveling to Hawaii.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leroy McCoy; his mother, June Virginia (Sens) McCoy; his older brother, Leroy McCoy Jr.; and his sister, Cornelia Elizabeth McCoy Leiker.He is survived by his older brothers, Daniel and Robert; along with many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
In accordance with Timothy's wishes, cremation will take place this week. A gathering and celebration of his life will be held on November 15, 2025, from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Wooden Nickel in Marshall.
Timothy's memory will be cherished by his family and friends, who will remember him for his compassion, intelligence, and strength of character.
