Timothy M. McElhone
Age 71, of Bethel Park, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 21, 2025. Beloved husband of 46 years of Joan (Rimsky) McElhone; loving father of Michael P. (Gina), Timothy R. (Erica), and Sean W. (Jenna); grandfather to Aubrey, Zachary, Hailey, Harper, Timothy, Hannah, Christian, Alana, Aria, Vincenzo, and Roman; son-in-law to Johanna Rimsky. He is preceded in death by his father James, mother Doris, brother William McElhone, and father-in-law John Rimsky. Mr. McElhone was a retired Executive Vice President of the Boys & Girls Club of Western PA. Timothy enjoyed golf, bowling, dinner dates with Joan, going to his grandchildren’s activities and spending time with his family and friends. In his younger days he excelled both on the baseball field and basketball court. He was a kind, funny, generous, loving man who will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
Mass of Christian Burial, Monday, October 27, 2025, 10 AM, St. Thomas More Church, Resurrection Parish, 126 Ft. Couch Rd. Interment to follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to FREYVOGEL-SLATER FUNERAL DIRECTORS, Bethel Park, 412-835-1860.
