Timothy J. McEssey

Timothy J. McEssey, 72, of Fond du Lac, passed away on May 9, 2022 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born in Fond du Lac on February 23, 1950 to the late Robert and Irene (Swalby) McEssey.
Tim is survived by his wife, Sharon (Schwebke) McEssey, whom he married on October 30, 1982. He is also survived by his children, Emily (fiancé Eric Thieme) McEssey of Fond du Lac, Steve (Kathy) McEssey of Van Dyne and Michael (special friend Anna) McEssey of Fond du Lac; four grandchildren, Mitchell (Alexus) McEssey, Katlynn (special friend Garrett) McEssey, Heidi Jo (Jon) Soto and Karson (special friend Jessie) McEssey; two great grandchildren, Bowen and Rylah; his siblings, Karen Hess, Robert (Dona) McEssey, Jerold McEssey, Pam (Mike) Wagner and Jackie Holzbauer; sister-in-law, Kelly McEssey; brother-in-law, Gregg (Deanna) Schwebke; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Ronald McEssey; brothers-in-law, Joseph Hess and Glenn Schwebke.
Tim graduated from L.P. Goodrich in 1968. He worked at Mercury Marine for 45 years retiring in 2014. Tim had several passions; one being mentored by "Chef Erv" while working at South Hills Country Club. He was an avid outdoorsman, with serving on the board of Whitetails Unlimited for 25 years and he was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles #270 for many years. Tim enjoyed camping, watching Nascar, love of classic cars and traveling with Sharon. He loved his fur babies "cats", Fiona and Tess Marie. His greatest passion was spending time with his family and being with his grandchildren.
Per Tim's wishes, private family services will be held.
