Timothy J. "Tim" McIntyre, age 75 of L'Anse, MI passed away unexpectedly Saturday, August 30, 2025 at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, WI. He was born in L'Anse, MI on July 1, 1950 son of the late Daniel and Myrtice (Treadeau) McIntyre. Tim attended L'Anse area schools. He married the former Nancy LeClaire at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, L'Anse on October 25, 1975. She preceded him in death in 2024. Tim had owned and operated his own Husqvarna Saw Shop from 1990 until his retirement in 2010. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. Tim enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping with friends, and reading. He was an avid Green Bay Packer and Detroit Tigers fan. Tim is survived by his loving children Kevin McIntyre of L'Anse, Kari (Patrick) Dunphy of Ishpeming, and Jenny McIntyre of Minnesota, grandchildren Joshua Carr, Addison Dunphy, Bailey Dunphy, Alexander Juntunen, Gabrielle Juntunen, Colson Juntunen, and Kevin McIntyre, Jr., brothers Riley (Kay) McIntyre of L'Anse, Dan McIntyre of Oklahoma, and Pat (Carrie) McIntyre of WI, sisters Collen (Gary) Bishop of L'Anse, and Eva Goodreau of Greenland. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. He is also survived by his faithful companion, his dog Rosie. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Nancy, sisters Nel Bishop and Kitty McIntyre, brother-in-law Butch Goodreau and sister-in-law Patricia McIntyre Funeral arrangements will be available soon. The Reid Funeral Service and Chapel of L'Anse has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
