Timothy Lee Meiser, 66, of New Philadelphia, was born on February 22, 1959, in Youngstown, Ohio. He was the son of the late Norman Eugene Meiser and Jean (Keil) Maxhimer. Timothy passed away on Friday, May 2, 2025, at the Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital in Dover.
Timothy graduated from Tuslaw High School in the class of 1977. He worked for many years at Dover Chemical before his retirement. His commitment to his profession was a testament to his strong work ethic and determination.
Outside of his professional life, Timothy was a man of many interests. He enjoyed fishing and golfing, pursuits that brought him joy and relaxation. A true craftsman, he took great pleasure in fixing things and engaging in DIY projects. Yet, perhaps the most treasured moments for Timothy were those spent with his grandchildren. He loved being with them, sharing in their lives, and creating memories that would last a lifetime.
He leaves behind his wife of 44 years, Mary (Grafe) Meiser, whom he married on October 18, 1980. He will also be sady missed by his three sons; Adam (Jamie) Meiser of Uhrichsville, Andy Meiser (Amy Hayward) of New Philadelphia, and Alex (Rebecca) Meiser of Green; his grandchildren, Averi, Jordyn, and Haley Meiser, Jeremiah (Taylor) Beamer, Tanner Speer, Kaleb Leavers (Jada Morrison); and three great-grandchildren, Adalynn Beamer, Axton Beamer, and Uriah Leavers; his niece, Tiffany Irvine; and his special uncle, David Gartenbush.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Stacy Hoffman.
In honoring Timothy's wishes, cremation has been entrusted with the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. To sign an online guestbook for Timothy, visit the obituary link on the funeral home's website.
