Timothy Cole Merrill was born on December 9, 1991, and passed away on January 1, 2026. He was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Timothy had a rare and gentle spirit. Though the world was not always kind to him, he remained kind to it. He was compassionate, loyal, and giving - Someone who made others feel welcome, seen, and supported. His presence brought comfort, laughter, and a sense of belonging.

Timothy was a devoted husband to his wife, Jennelle, and a proud, loving father to his son, Ace, who was the light of his life. He cherished his family deeply and carried strong bonds with those closest to him.

He is survived by his father, Tom; his mother, Colette; his brothers, Eddie, T.J. (Betty), and Taylor (Rovie); his sister, Kimber (Jules); 13 nieces and nephews (Jacque, Aiden, Kendell, Porter, Ella, Samantha, Levi, Jerum, Tyren, Kaela, Kelsey, J.T., Kathryn). He is welcomed home by his brother, Tyler (Cassie), who preceded him in death.

Timothy found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He had a passion for making the best pizza and dreamed of one day owning his own pizza place. He loved movies, popcorn, and music, especially Pink Floyd.

He was a member of the jazz choir in Kelseyville, California - traveling to and winning many competitions. He loved to sing and play the piano. He loved playing soccer, baseball, basketball and football. He was in the homecoming royalty lineup in High School for 3 consecutive years.

He was an Eagle Scout and had the solemn privilege to place the wreath on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery. With his scout troop, he spent the night on the USS Pampanito (SS-383) a WWII submarine docked at Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco, and he also attended the historic Giants baseball game when Barry Bonds broke the Home Run world record.

Timothy built lifelong friendships rooted in loyalty, shared adventures, and unconditional support. He spent a summer in Alaska with some very dear friends - which was a highlight for him. He was the friend who opened his home, showed up without hesitation, and walked beside others through every season of life.

Though his time here feels far too short, Timothy’s kindness, love, and gentle spirit will live on through his son, his family, and the many lives he touched.

He will be forever missed and never forgotten.
