Timothy J. Meyer

Parnell - Timothy J. Meyer, age 55, of Parnell, WI, passed away Tuesday evening (June 1, 2021) surrounded by his loving family and friends at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls following a long hard fought battle with cancer.

He was born on April 20, 1966 in Fond du Lac, WI, a son of John O. and Elizabeth M. (nee Michels) Meyer.

Tim attended Consolidated Parochial School in St. Cloud and graduated from New Holstein High School in 1984.

On August 15, 1987, he married Amy Tassler in Mt. Calvary. The couple has resided in the Parnell area since their marriage.

Tim worked at Kohler Company for 34 years. He belonged to the United Auto Workers Local 833 in Sheboygan.

He loved to have a good time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his loving wife of 33 years: Amy of Parnell; his daughters which he cherished: Amanda Meyer (special friend: Aleq Aures) of Eden and Sarah Meyer of Parnell; his parents: John and Elizabeth Meyer of Mt. Calvary; six brothers and sisters: his twin brother, Tom (Sandy) Meyer of Fond du Lac, Karen (Doug) Thome of Mt. Calvary, Jeff (Sandi) Meyer of Mt. Calvary, Lori (Norm) Lemke of Mt. Calvary, Todd (Amy) Meyer of Mt. Calvary, and Matt (Julia) Meyer of Mt. Calvary; Mother and Father-in-law: Orrin "Smokey" and Judy Tassler of Campbellsport; and one brother-in-law: Alan (Joy) Tassler of Eden.

He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Following Tim's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held on Sunday afternoon (June 6, 2021) at 5:00 PM at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Father Gary Wegner O.F.M CAP, Pastor of St. Isadore the Farmer Parish/Holy Cross Church will officiate.

Visitation will take place on Sunday (June 6th) from 12:00 PM until time of services.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Tim's name for the Vince Lombardi Cancer Center in Sheboygan and the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls.

Tim was one of the most genuinely honest people I knew. He always had an upbeat attitude about everything. I only knew Tim for five years but I knew he was a great person. I will miss him. Rest In Peace my friend.

My friend Tim when i met him for the first time sitting at the ball park and Tim asked me where i was from judt out of the blues. I told him El and i John just got the house up the street. We talked for awhile an we left. The next thing we know Tim Meyer is in our driveway And The Friendship Began.. Tim was more than a friend he was a true Brother. Someone you could ask for anything in lofe and get just like Amy. That Meyer Family lost a true good man but now we all have great memories of our lives knowing Tim and his wife Amy Sarah and Amanda wil forever feel his ORBS when thay walk through the home barn and look out at the fields. And the girls cant remember what he looks like just look at your hands and your SMILE. TIM AND AMY BROUGHT UP SOME AMAZING GIRLS THAT ARE LIKE MY OWN DAUGHTER'S. WE will liss Tim but will never forget his kindness to the world. Love you my Friend John and Laura Gobbel.
