Obituary published on Legacy.com by Seguin & Symonds Funeral Home - Highwood on Jan. 9, 2026.
Timothy Moore, a compassionate caregiver passed away on January 7, 2025. Born on November 14, 1957, Tim dedicated his life to the service of others, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and professional excellence.

A proud alumni of Oakton College, Tim graduated with honors in 1993 with an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) as a Physical Therapy Assistant. His commitment to specialized care led him to earn a Gerontology Certificate in 1999 from City Colleges of Chicago-Wilbur Wright College.

Tim spent over 20 years as a Physical Therapy Assistant at Presbyterian Homes in Evanston, Illinois. Known for his gentle touch and encouraging spirit, he received constant praise and gratitude from the countless patients he helped on their road to recovery. He never failed to bring a smile to others' faces with his around-the-clock humor.

He was the beloved son of the late Thomas and Jean Moore. Tim's memory will be cherished by his children, Sean (Stacy) Moore and Amanda Moore, and he was the proud grandfather to Bryanna and Shane Moore.

He is survived by an extensive and loving family of siblings: Thomas C. Moore, Patricia Mann, Pamela Southwell, Marianne LaCour, Colleen Kissane, Kevin Moore, Jennifer Arnold, and Janine Zaremba. He joins in eternal rest his late siblings Margaret "Peggy" Ludwig and Michael Moore. Tim was also a dear uncle to many nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in his heart.

Timothy's life was defined by the profound impact he made on his community through his work. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
