Born November 5, 1927, Timothy M. O’Keefe passed away peacefully on September 23, 2025, at the age of 97. He was predeceased by his parents, Timothy O’Keefe and Mary E. Daly; his beloved wife, Margaret Mary; granddaughter, Erin O’Keefe; and son-in-law, David Powers.
Timothy is survived by his children, Maureen, Michael, Timothy, Kathleen, Margaret, Colleen Powers, Donald (Candace), and Kevin (Holli); grandchildren, Brian Pierce (Kristina Brisson), Katie Pierce (Andy Hoffman), Shannon O’Keefe, Courtney O’Keefe, Mikey O’Keefe, John (Sarah) Powers, Sheila Powers (Justin Weber), Grace O’Keefe, Kelly (Scott) Patterson, and Kevin O’Keefe Jr.; and great-grandchildren, Shailene, Jameson Powers, Conor, Rory Patterson, Christopher O’Keefe; Brother, Jerry O’ Keefe of England, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A lifelong Greece community member, Timothy was proud to be part of the Rochester Irish Harp Club and the Kodak Retirees group (Roll Coating). Timothy was a retiree of Kodak of 37 years. He enjoyed a wide range of personal interests, including Notre Dame football, the Buffalo Bills, the PGA, GAA Rochester, daily newspapers, Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, and puzzles. Dad was an Uber driver extraordinaire.
The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to the doctors and healthcare professionals who cared for Timothy, including Rochester Regional Health, his primary care doctor Molly Kennedy, NP, cardiologist Dr. Sara Taylor, Righat Nizghi, NP, Dr. Akshay Joshi; the 4200 wing at Unity Hospital, Wilson Pharmacy, Hospice Home team Heidi and Becka, the VA Rochester Calkins Road Clinic, podiatrist Dr. Rizzo, and the Center of Urology with Dr. Glazer and staff. Special thanks to friends Mike and Linda Gorczynski and Tony and Monica Geraci.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at St. Charles Borromeo Church, with private entombment to follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Honor Flight Rochester. Timothy’s family warmly invites friends to celebrate his life afterward at Bill Gray’s Port of Rochester (1000 N. River St, Rochester, NY 14612)
