Randy O'Keefe Obituary

Randy J. O'Keefe, age 74, passed away at home on September 10, 2025.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday September 20, 2025, at 12:00pm at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. Visitation will be held from 9:00am until the time of service.

Randy was born on April 16, 1951, to Gregory O'Keefe and Elaine (Hanifin) Kaub.

Randy lived a life fueled by hard work, humor, and a passion for the open road. He drove truck from 1975 until the present day and proudly owned and operated Randy O'Keefe Trucking for more than 40 years. He had a special love for 359 Petes-their look, their style, and in his opinion, everything as a whole.

Beyond trucking, Randy had many passions. He loved Harleys and spent countless rides along with his wife. He also had a deep love for drag racing, a sport he enjoyed for more than 25 years-starting young and returning to it in the early 2000s. Known at the racetrack as the man with a trailer full of tools, spare parts, and always a cold beer, he was quick to help anyone who needed it.

A true Chevrolet enthusiast, Randy especially cherished his Camaro and classic Chevys. His garage was his happy place, where he spent endless hours tinkering, inventing, and creating new tools. He was not only mechanically gifted but incredibly smart, always finding a way to solve problems.

Family was the heart of his world. He shared many adventures with his wife, traveling to Florida and Mexico, where he especially enjoyed shelling on the beach. At home, he always had Red Hots, Snickers, or Hot Tamales on hand.

Above all, Randy will be remembered as the funniest, most caring, and selfless man-someone who lived to help others, love his family, and enjoy life to the fullest. His presence will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Randy is survived by his wife, LuAnn; son, Chris (Jen) Feit; granddaughters, Kyla and Faith Feit; siblings, Peggy (Dave) Richardson, Bruce (Vicky) O'Keefe, Kenny O'Keefe; sister-in-law, Gloria O'Keefe; nieces and nephews; and racecar family; and fur-baby, Rylie.

Preceded in death by his parents, Gregory O'Keefe and Elaine Kaub; and brother, Dan O'Keefe; and dogs, Wickett and Josie.
