Terrie Diane O’Keefe, 59, of Barnesville, Minnesota, and longtime resident of Marietta, Georgia, passed away on September 4, 2025. She was born on January 8, 1966, in Cullman, Alabama, to Judy Earlene Pope and Delbert Hicks.

Terrie worked as a kitchen designer and described herself as a free-spirited “hippie,” finding joy in sunflowers and the music of Stevie Nicks.

Terrie is survived by her daughter, Kristin Terra Walden (Jacob); her grandchildren: Carter, Kaylee, Sadie, and Dillon; siblings: Michael “Mike” Everhart and Melissa “Missy” Gustafson; and many extended family members and friends. She is also survived by her companion James "Clay" Foreman, who was by her side in her final months.

She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Robert “Brent” Olney; parents Judy Pope and Delbert Hicks; stepfather Robert Hamilton Lay; and brothers: Jeffery Lay and Dale Wayne “Dewayne” Hicks.

In keeping with her final wishes, Terrie will be cremated, and her remains will be spread in a field of sunflowers alongside her beloved son, Brent.
