Timothy William O'Leary, III, age 89, of Tomahawk, WI, passed away suddenly on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Aspirus Tomahawk Hospital. Tim was born July 22, 1936, in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Timothy and Ida (Beaumont) O'Leary, II. After high school, Tim proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He then joined his father working in the family pizza business, Chuck & Tim's. He later was a self-employed salesman who enjoyed traveling to his customers in Wisconsin and Upper and Lower Michigan, retiring in 2018. Tim enjoyed camping in his beloved Airstream, boating with family, and he especially loved watching his grandchildren participating in their various sporting events.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Marilyn O'Leary; his son, Tim (Lila) O'Leary, IV, of Iron Mountain, MI; his daughters, Dawn (Todd) Theder, of Tomahawk, WI, and Kelly Nyberg, also of Tomahawk, WI; his grandchildren, Tim O'Leary, V, of Niagara, MI, Megan (Dan Allard) O'Leary, of Iron Mountain, MI, Shanna (Dylan) Lafaro, of Niagara, MI, Nick Robertson, of Tomahawk, WI, Matt Robertson, of Oshkosh, WI, Rachel Robertson, of Fond Du Lac, WI, Jonathan (Billie) Nyberg, of Wausau, WI, and Anna Nyberg, of Atlanta GA; and his great-grandchildren, Kilee, Liam, Levi, and Leroy Allard, all of Iron Mountain, MI. He is further survived by his sister, Dorothy (Tommy) Girmscheid, of Clermont, FL; his stepbrother, Alan Borkenhagen, of Milwaukee, WI; and his stepsons, Danny Deneau and Donald Deneau. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tim and Ida; his first wife, Judith; his brother, Mike; and his son-in-law, Jim Nyberg.
Honoring Tim's wishes, no services will be held. Generations Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family.
