We are saddened to announce the passing of Gloria Jean Lechleitner, 83, of Tomahawk, WI. who passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at the Aspirus Wausau Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Gloria was born September 22, 1942 in Merrill, the daughter of Clarence and Wilma (Enyart) Schepp. She was united in marriage to John Lechleitner (the love of her life) on June 30, 1963 and he preceded her in death on August 14, 2017.
Gloria worked at Sacred Heart Hospital for over 30 years. She loved bike riding and being on the water, spending many happy summer days boating with family and friends. In the winter months, she could be found cross-country skiing or reading a good book. One of Gloria’s greatest joys in life was being a grandmother. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren. They were a constant source of pride and happiness.
Surviving are her son, Michael (April) Lechleitner, Rothschild; daughter, Elizabeth Johnston, Daniel Island, South Carolina; grandchildren, Matthew (Brittany) Lechleitner and Sarah (Erik) Barttelt; great-grandchildren, Adelin, Oliver, Connor; and a brother, Larry (Patty) Schepp, West Bend.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; brothers, Michael and Rocci Schepp and a great-grandson, Jack Barttelt.
Honoring Gloria’s wishes, no services will be held.
