Timothy James O'Sullivan, born in Indianapolis, IN, passed away on 7 December 2024. He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Viola O'Sullivan. He is survived by his sisters, Marianne O'Sullivan of Rio Rancho, NM, and Linda O'Sullivan Bruckart of Chambersburg, PA; his nephew, James P. Bruckart of Dallas, TX; and his niece, Emily Bruckart of Chambersburg, PA. Great nephews: James Samuel Bruckart, John Patrick (Jack)Bruckart and great niece Margaret Jean Bruckart.
Timothy graduated from North Central High School and earned a BS in Education from University of Missouri. He went on to achieve a Master's Degree from Indiana University. Throughout his career, Timothy worked as a dedicated school teacher in Missouri, Arizona, and New Mexico. He was retired at the time of his passing.
Timothy was recognized as a leader and generous supporter of Scouting USA, serving as a Scouting Council Commissioner for the New Mexico SW Council. He earned a Scouting Doctorate of Commissioner Science, Order of the Arrow, and other recognition. An active member of the New Mexico Mountain Man Association, Timothy participated in rendezvous, reenactments, and other camp activities.
In lieu of flowers: gifts to Scouting USA are appreciated. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
