Timothy Alan Pankowski, 67, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at his home in Lake Park, MN.
Timothy was born August 16, 1957, in Williston, ND, to Herbert and Helen (Nelson) Pankowski. He graduated from Williston High School in 1975 and began working on the family farm. In the late 1970’s and early 1980’s, western ND experienced an oil boom, and Timothy was fortunate enough to begin working on the oil rigs where he was recognized for his hard work and organizational skills. Later, he moved to Fargo, ND and began self-employment in the construction industry and maintenance for several buildings such as the Black Building and rental properties. The family also spent several years living in Grand Forks, ND where Timothy drove semi-trucks until eventually moving back to Fargo. He retired about 8 years ago and spent the last 3 years residing in Lake Park.
Timothy was married to Pamela Dennis and they had 4 children together. They were later divorced.
He enjoyed fishing, watching old westerns on T.V. and telling stories about his adventures on past jobs. He especially loved his faithful dog, Tara, who meant the world to him.
Timothy is survived by his children, Curtis (Nicole) Pankowski, Amanda Pankowski, Christopher Pankowski and Cody Pankowski; 5 grandchildren; his brother, Steve and sisters, Sharon, Holly, Linda and Judy. He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will hold a service for Timothy at a later date.
