It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Timothy Scott Prey, a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Tim lost his battle with congestive heart failure on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, surrounded by his family. Tim, just 66 years old, was born on May 26, 1959 in Clintonville, Wisconsin to the late Lyle and Mary (Wood) Prey. He married Terry Lehman on August 31, 1985.

Tim worked in the paper mill industry his entire life. In his free time, he enjoyed bowling, camping, playing poker and euchre, riding his motorcycle, boating, hunting, golfing and baseball. He was an avid car enthusiast and he loved detailing them as well; he liked his lawn and his vehicles to look good. He was always up for a road trip.

Tim is survived by his loving wife of almost 40 years, Terry; his children, Kyle (Sadie) Prey and Michelle (Beau) Schaetz; his grandchildren, Brayden, Jackson, and Carson; his grand dogs, Luna, Anni, and Holly; brothers Rod (Janet) Prey, Brad (Tambi) Prey; brothers-in-law, Pat (Pam) Lehman, Peter Lehman; sister-in-law, Debbie (Kenneth) Luchinski. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Lyle and Mary; his brothers, Jeff Prey and Greg Prey; sister-in-law, Dale Prey; in-laws, Jim and Eunice Lehman; and his nephew, Brian Bodoh.

Tim's family would like to extend a special thank you to his heart and vascular team at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Appleton, and also to the nursing staff at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, as well as the staff at the Heart and Vascular Institute in Appleton.

The Funeral Service for Tim will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August, 18, 2025, at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London, Wisconsin, with Deacon Joe Lehman officiating. The visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place at a later date.
