Timothy Allen Quarterman, 58, of Pocahontas departed this life on June 7, 2025, at Unity Health in Searcy.
Timothy was born in Omaha, NE., to Nathaniel and Leeta Calton Quarterman on July 22, 1966. Tim loved talking to God and his faith. He also had a love for fishing, reading and computers. His greatest love of all was his family.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mamie Kennedy; paternal grandparents, Mazie Foster and Nat Quarterman; father, Nathaniel Quarterman; father-in-law, Amzier Rainwater; two infant brothers, Edward and Edwin; two brothers-in-law, Clint Sprauve and Greg Rainwater. He is also preceded in death by his beloved fur baby, Fat Daddy.
He is survived by his wife, Sheila Quarterman; mother, Leeta Quarterman; three sons, Timothy Quarterman of Fort Worth, TX., Timothy Jr. Quarterman of Arlington, TX and Roshawn (Emily) Quarterman of Dover, NH.; two grandsons, Timothy Peyton Quarterman of Fort Worth, TX., and Kyler Quarterman of Bastrop, LA.; siblings, Vickey Sprauve of Fort Worth, TX., Jonie Payton of Fort Worth, TX., and Nathaniel (Blanche) Quarterman Jr. of Liberty Hill, TX.; two uncles, Obie Calton of San Antonio, TX and Charles Tolbert of Denver, CO.; mother-in-law, Linda Rainwater of Pocahontas; two brothers-in-law, Joe (Barb) Rainwater, of Maryville, TN., and Mark (Tari) Rainwater of Tucson, AZ., and sister-in-law, Tammy Rainwater; nieces and nephews, Aisha Quarterman, Regina Pope, Regina Tanksley, Kim Tanksley, Hannah Rainwater, Charlotte Rainwater, Rebecca Rainwater, James Taylor, Tracy Taylor, Nathaniel Quarterman III, Robert Clark, Jeremy Jones and Kevin Rainwater; six great nieces and two great nephews and many more loved ones. He also leaves behind five fur babies, Millie, Dudley, Shorty, Gizmo and Pearl.
There will be a memorial service at 10:00 am, Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Shannon Baptist Church with James Anderson officiating.
