Timothy C. Ray, 66, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away surrounded by his loving wife and family on September 24, 2024 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on December 24, 1957 to John and Emma (Broshious) Ray. Tim worked for Jeep, retiring in 2017. He had a passion for fishing and boating. He also was an avid camper, creating many long-lasting friendships and memories along the way. Tim loved to be spontaneous, taking random road trips with his wife Susan and his fur baby, Bailey. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and cheering on the New York Giants and The Ohio State Buckeyes. Tim was extremely hard working, always wanting to provide. It was normal to see Tim multitasking numerous jobs at one time, but what he cherished most was his loving family and friends.
Timothy is survived by his wife of 29 years, Susan; dog, Bailey; brother, Hank Gorski, Robert (Leeza) Ray; step-children, Crystal, Chasity, Brad; many nieces and nephews, especially, Terry (Darla) Broshious, John (Jennifer) Gorski, Tricia (Jeff) Anderson, Tommy Jr., T.J. (Jodi) Ray, Pam (Jared) Belcher; many great nieces and nephews, especially, Karissa, Savannah and Anthony; and many great-great nieces and nephews; and close friends, Jim (Peg) D'Amato, Dave Marrow, Pete Garcia, Herb King and Kelly Cousino, Matt (Sheila) Feasel, Chris (Emily) Parish, Tom St. Marie; Sean Valle and Alishia Poormani; and Dave (Betsy) Story. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, John Gorski, Al Shreck, Edward Broshious, David Ray, Thomas Ray Sr.; nephew, Jerry Broshious; and best friend, Randy Faneuff.
The family will receive friends at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Sunday, September 29, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of memorial service at 4:00 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to the Ray Family.
