Timothy Earl Robertson

Tim Robertson, 55, of Battle Creek passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at Bronson Methodist Hospital Kalamazoo Michigan.

Tim was born on January 18, 1970 in Battle Creek, son of Tom and Diane Robertson. He was a lifelong resident of the area, graduating from Battle Creek Central High School.

On February 20, 2003 he was united in marriage to Julie Robertson, and had 4 children, Raechel Robertson, Brittaney (Michael) Hentges, Felix Robertson and Cole Robertson.

He was employed as a salesman at Sunshine Toyota, Metro Toyota, and was the owner, founder and publisher of mymac.com which hosts a variety of different podcasts and media.

He enjoyed documenting his life online and through social media. You can find perhaps thousands of videos, pictures, audio files and other, about him, his family and experiences, everywhere online.

Tim enjoyed doing podcasts on Tech fan and Geeks Pub, and had a love of all technology and IT work.

He loved traveling, especially to places notably such as Frankenmuth Michigan, New York Chicago, LA, and San Francisco. He was a comic-con lover and enjoyed going to various different expos.

He had a love of cars, especially Toyota and enjoyed his work immensely. Even on his days off he would take the time to help customers.

He was an animal lover and leaves behind cats Luna, Ginny and turtle Tuck.

He was a self proclaimed "Geek" loving Star Wars, Marvel/DC, comic books, Harry Potter, Lord of the rings, Star Trek and more. He had a love for video games, especially old-school arcade games, specifically Burger time, Pac-Man and Mario.

Tim loved having conversations and debates with anyone and everyone, and was quite possibly the biggest “people-person” in the world. Incredibly social, he knew somebody and made friends anywhere that he went. He'd love to make people laugh and loved to make people's day.

He was a massive Detroit Lions fan for his entire life and you could hear him down the block yelling at the TV on football Sunday.

Tim was a massive music lover, an “audiophile” as he would describe himself. He had a wide variety of tastes and genres ranging all the way from Frank Sinatra to Metallica, from John Williams to the Beatles, from Duran Duran to Foo Fighters.

His absolute all time favorite artist was Prince, and all time favorite song was Purple Rain. Shortly before his passing he told his wife that “after I’ve gone you can always find me in the (Purple Rain) guitar solo”

His language was gift giving, and acts of service, always doing or buying something for somebody. He enjoyed cooking for his family, trying out new recipes of his own creation and was a wonderful cook. He also enjoyed finding new food trucks to try, and frequented a local food truck “Kick N’ Kurbz”.

His biggest love was for his family. He leaves behind his beloved wife Julie, whom they were married to for 22 years. He took huge pride in his children, Raechel, Brittaney, Felix, and Cole.

He also carried a deep respect and enduring love for his father, Tom, whose strength and values helped shape the man he became. He is also survived by several sister/brother in-laws, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and further family.

He was preceded in death by his mother Diane.

He was a provider and role model for his family. He was supportive of anything his wife and children were passionate about. His favorite thing to do was to spend time with his family.

His memory will continue to guide and inspire those who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM, Monday, July 21, 2025, at the Richard A. Henry funeral home and cremation services. Visitation will be held from 11:00am to 1:00pm prior to the service. Interment will be at Reese Cemetery.
