Timothy Shuster, 76, of Marion, Ohio passed away peacefully on April 22, 2025.

He was born on May 20, 1948 to Elton and Ruby Shuster in Marion.

Tim married Nancy Carter on May 20, 1972. They shared 46 years of happy marriage before her passing. He was a devoted husband and caretaker to her in her final years.

Tim worked at Honda assembling cars and motorcycles for almost twenty years before retiring. He loved tinkering with old classic cars. His favorite was a 1971 Oldsmobile 442. He found joy in helping people and was always trying to make their lives easier. He had a green thumb and a beautiful garden, and he was very protective of his well-maintained lawn. Tim wasn’t a churchgoer, but believed that if he needed to pray, he would go to his garden to do it. He loved spending time with his family, and he always enjoyed going to car shows and seeing the classic vehicles on display.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Nancy Shuster; parents Elton and Ruby Shuster; son Michael Tong; brother Chet Shuster; and sister Karen Chevalier.

Tim is survived by his two daughters Angela (Joe) Rivers and Tangie Shuster; siblings Paul (Belinda) Shuster, Steve (Cindy) Shuster, and Elton (Ellen) Shuster; grandchildren Sierra (Brandon) Dunn and Shawn/Bub (Lindsey) Howard; step-grandchildren Clayton (CJ) Rivers and Kaylee Rivers; great-grandchildren Karson, Kenleigh, Kaizen, Shawn (little Bub), Edalynn, Breonna, Skye, and Joey; many nieces and nephews, especially Cheddar; and many friends.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
