Timothy Lee Sims, age 71, of Shelbyville, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025.
He was born on June 8, 1953, in Columbia City, IN, to Willis & Geraldine Sims.
Tim married Elizabeth Jean Brown on September 3, 1983, in Shelbyville.
He worked at Parker Hannifin as a machine operator for 36 years.
Tim enjoyed hunting, camping, vacationing, making fishing poles, & spending time with his family. Tim and Beth enjoyed hosting family and friends at Jellystone campground in Pierceton, Indiana where they made many memories with their kids, grandkids and extended family.
Tim is survived by his wife, Beth; children, Tracy (Tammy) Sims, Natasha (Dan) Watson, Cory (Lisa) Sims and Brad (Angelica) Sims; mother-in-law, Jean (Ron) Brown; grandchildren, Gavin, Gunner, Landen, Tucker, Gideon, Nick, Curtis, Daniel, Jacob, AnnaBelle, Spencer, Natalie, Amos, Mason, Hunter, Wyatt, Brook, Payton, and Owen; siblings, Chet (Liz) Sims, Dave (Glenda), Fran Adams and Judy (Jon) Wilmot; brothers and sisters-in-law, Marge (Bill) Nickerson, Bernie (Brenda) Brown and Nancy (Scott) Gross.
Tim had a large extended family of many nieces, nephews and cousins who he enjoyed spending time with. Many of which joined him on several hunting and camping trips along with many vacations.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Geraldine Sims, father-in-law Bernie Brown, siblings Phyllis, Bill, Larry and Rita.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00PM (Noon) on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at The Master's Feet Discipleship Ministry, 814 21st, Otsego, MI. Visitation will take place one hour prior at 11:00AM.
