Timothy Carl Smith, 73, of Saginaw, TX went home to be with the Lord on August 25, 2025. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and faithful servant of Christ, Timothy lived his life with kindness, integrity, and a steadfast commitment to his family, community, and faith.

Born on June 27, 1952 in Wichita Falls, TX, Timothy devoted much of his life to serving others through a long and distinguished career in law enforcement and public service. He worked as a police officer, Chief of Police, Sheriff’s Deputy, and later as Assistant Director for Operations at Dallas Love Field. In every role, Timothy was guided by his faith and by a desire to serve with honor and humility.

Beyond his career, Timothy was a man who poured love into his family and friends. He had a gift for conversation, wisdom to share, and a heart that was always open. He enjoyed building things, whether furniture for his children and grandchildren or memories that will last for generations. His greatest legacy is the faith and love he instilled in those around him.

Timothy is survived by loving wife, Fannie Mae; his children Josh and (Stephanie), Jared and (Leslie), daughter Amanda and (Micheal) and daughter Tamara Jo; his cherished grandchildren Andrea and Alex, Chloe and Conley, Grace and Jacob, Tiara, Ava, and Warren; and his precious great-grandchild, Ellie Jo. Timothy is survived by his eldest brothers Eddie and (Alice), and Jeff and (Pam), and is joined in eternal rest with his beloved parents Dr. Robert and Marguerite Smith. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A celebration of Timothy’s life will be held on September 13, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at 700 W. Wall St, Grapevine, TX, 76051. All who knew and loved him are welcome to attend as we celebrate his life, faith, and legacy.
