Timothy Dean Smith

Timothy D. Smith, age 68, of Millcreek Twp., passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025. He was born in Erie on January 23, 1957, the son of the late Wesley and Winona Dellinger Smith.

Tim graduated from McDowell H.S. and worked at Ervite Industries and Laurel Hill Cemetery before his retirement.

He was a past member of the Erie Aquarium Society and was involved in breeding tropical fish. He loved hunting with his brothers-in-law; John Edwards and Chuck Walker. He loved dogs and owned several throughout his life. His latest dogs were Boone and Ginger.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law Wesley Wayne Smith and Kathy Smith, his sister Deanna Bailey, his brother-in-law Larry Thompson, his nephew Scott Smith, and his in-laws John and Wanda Edwards.

He is survived by his wife Donna Edwards Smith (married in 1982), his sister Jerolyn Thompson, his brother-in-law John Edwards, Jr. (Janice), his nieces and nephews: Kym Gack (William), Daniel Thompson, Linda Surles (Daniel), Amy Smith, Jaime Greishaw, and Jennifer Zietz.

A memorial service will be announced at a later time by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd.
