Tim grew up in Monroe, but while in high school, the family moved to Pella, and he was a 1991 graduate of Pella High School. Tim was an over-the-road truck driver for 15 years and most recently was employed by the Pella Community Schools as the custodian at Lincoln Elementary School. Tim's family includes his mother, Judy Sherwood of Oskaloosa; his father and mom, Norman and Connie Sneller of Oskaloosa; two sisters, Rhonda (Nick) Kmiec of Oskaloosa and Terri Kingery of Arizona; a brother, David Kingery of Pella; and many aunts, uncles, a great-aunt, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins.
Tim was preceded in death by his grandparents and his two Shih Tzu dogs, Trently and TeeCee.
As was his wish, Tim's body has been cremated. A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the College Avenue Friends Church in Oskaloosa with Reverend Tom Palmer officiating. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service time, beginning at 1:00 p.m., with family to greet friends and relatives at the church.
