It is with a heavy & broken heart that I share the passing of my beloved, handsome big brother Timothy Stafford. Tim was not only my brother, but my 1st friend, my go to guy, my protector if I needed someone put in their place, my teacher who saw & felt the depth of the corrupt society that we live in. He tried to educate soooooo many on that subject.
Tim went to his heavenly home 2 days before his 61st birthday. He was NOT very excited about turning 61. He will forever be 60 now.
Timothy D. Stafford, born May 22, 1964 in St. Louis Mo was sent to his eternal home on May 20, 2025 due to a motorcycle accident in STL county. Only 2 blocks from his destination.
Beloved son of Stephanie Stafford, the late Thomas Stafford, brother of Karen Stafford-Whitehead, brother in-law of Chris Whitehead, nephew Kyle Stafford & family, niece Mariah, his beautiful, kind, patient, loving, peaceful, generous girlfriend of 9 years and friend of 28 yrs, Kirsten Austin and her brother Erich. He also leaves behind his uncles Vince Lange (Lori) Bob Lange (Casey), late Woody Lange (Barbara), Aunt Maria Blaha, Carol Freihaut late Pete Freihaut, 1st cousins, Steven, Chrissy, Jenny, Kendall, Scott, Katie, Amy, Morgan, Jessie, Chris and Jeff; and his 14yr old pup MOMO. Dear friend to many. Can't even count how many.
Tim was never scared to take on a challenge, to stand up to someone, when wrong had to be made right. His stories of his life's adventures were infectious, intriguing, and sometimes flat out wild. He was a frugal man and generous with others. He was easy going and had a young at heart quality. He DID NOT conform easily unless he knew 100% that it resonated with him. He loved music, played guitar in a few rock n roll bands. He LOVED being in the country and the solitude with nature and loved the river. He was a free bird and a simple man.
Tim was a force to be reckoned with. He always lived his life his way, how he saw fit, without any outside influence. A bit stubborn at times, but his way. No questions asked. He was a good soul who was here on this earth trying to promote justice for most. Whether it was political, personal, or helping other people in the way he felt necessary. His sense of humor was sly and infectious. His journey was sometimes a rocky one but always came out of whatever situation smelling like roses. Except for his last day here on earth. God needed him for a purpose we will never understand.
Although Tim's physical presence may no longer grace our lives, his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us when we think of him. May his memory be a blessing and may we carry forth his legacy of love, light, and compassion in all we do.
Your light will forever shine brightly in our hearts Timmy. You were a handsome, beautiful piece of work.
He's up in heaven now, he took his final ride. He's with the angels now, flying by his side, he's riding like an eagle, beyond where we can see. He took his final journey.forever riding free.
A CELEBRATION OF LIFE will be held from 1-8 p.m. Friday, June 27th, 2025 at Emmenegger Nature Park, 11991 Stoneywood Dr. Kirkwood MO 63122. By powder Valley Park. Picnic, pot luck style. Bring a dish, if you wish, there will be plenty if you don't, so don't stress, just bring your memories, a lawn chair, a cooler with your preferred beverages, and we will provide the meat & some drinks. There is no rhyme or reason of the genre of foods. There should be several electric outlets available if needed.
Bring your memories of Tim and share your stories if you so choose. By the end of the day, with all the stories, we may have a movie script of his silly antics throughout his life and his special moments.
Any questions, please get in touch. Peace & Love. Stay safe on the roads & please watch out for motorcycles!!!!!

Oh Tim. I'm so sad to know I'll never see that cute smile again. You were a great friend for so many years. I think I still have the SSJ article from when you cut your hair! The crazy stuff we did....You were always so much fun. I will miss knowing you were out there somewhere, but you know I never forgot your birthday and I will never forget you. I'm just sorry you didn't get my text this year. I found out about an hour later, and it broke my heart. Your memory will always be there with the laughs we shared. Give Mookie a kiss for me. Until we meet again.
