Timothy “Tim” Daniel Spencer, 61, of Albany, GA., died Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Gerry Dorre and Rev. David Williams will officiate.
Tim was born in Orlando, FL to Carl and Mildred Spencer. He was a restaurant manager and helped open and start several restaurants in the Albany area. Tim was a talented artist and enjoyed painting and cooking. His favorite pastime was fishing. Tim was a member of the Albany Lions Club and Mended hearts chapter 165. Tim loved helping people and volunteered in many areas including the Federation of the Blind and local charity fishing tournaments. He was a member of Mercedes Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his father Carl Spencer and step father Daniel Spencer.
Survivors include his mother, Mildred “Millie” Spencer, his life partner Debbie McDonald, his children, Ryan Spencer (Danielle), Mallory Biggs (Steven), Tiffany Ammerman (Justin) his grandchildren, Lucy Biggs, Jackson Biggs, Emma Biggs, and Jude Ammerman, his brother Stephen Spencer (Theresa), his sisters Becky Page (Timmie) and Connie Spadine (Robbie Suggs), his mother in law Lavonia “Mama Mac” McDonald and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Liberty Hill Baptist Church.
