Timothy Wainwright Obituary
Tim graduated class of 1980 from Horseheads High School. He worked at Hadco/Sanmina then as Engineering Aid Senior Specialist at Lockheed Martin for the last 18 years.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, "the love of his life", Alison (Andrews) Wainwright, mother Patricia (Wilson) Wainwright, daughter Britny Wainwright, brother Tom (Jan) Wainwright, sisters-in-law Julie Rohland, and Annette (Bob) Chamberlain, brother-in-law Tyler (Alison) Andrews, as well as many nephews, nieces, and great nephews and nieces. He is predeceased by his father Rodney Wainwright, in-laws Raymond Andrews and Roxy (Wyka Andrews) Rogers, and brother-in-law Scott Andrews.
Many may remember his enthusiasm for music. Tim played bass guitar in Brewhaha, a rock n' roll cover band, with whom he played over 100 shows over the past six years. He found community amongst musicians hosting "Tim Slam I, II, & III", attending open jams at Arlo's Tavern and Red's Kettle Inn, and running sound for various events.
He was a devoted and loving son, husband and proud father. He leaves a huge hole in the hearts of his family and friends who were always entertained by his music and witty sense of humor. He kept joking until the very end. He will be missed greatly.
Family and friends are invited to visit at Richard's Funeral Home, Rte 17c West, Owego, NY on Saturday December 9th, 2023 from 12-2pm followed by a Memorial Service at 2pm. Donations may be made in memory of Timothy Wainwright to the Owego Music Booster Club at www.oamusicboosters.org. Please share your memories at www.RichardsFH.com
