Timothy Michael Warner

Timothy Michael Warner, aged 52, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, October 14, 2024, as the result of a motorcycle accident while visiting family in Arizona. Tim, his wife Sandi Warner, and his daughter Suri Warner are residents of Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born on May 26, 1972, to Dean Warner and Jeanie Bennett Warner in Jackson, Mississippi.
Tim proudly served for 21 years in the United States Air Force working in Intelligence, Operations, and Total Force Integration. He retired in 2017 as a Lieutenant Colonel. He served in Operation Enduring Freedom, where he was deployed three times to the Middle East. He most recently worked as the OASIS Program Manager for PatchPlus Consulting, an Intelligence Consulting Firm for the Department of Defense.
He graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics Studies and a Master of Arts in Intelligence Studies from American Military University.
Tim had a passion for adventure and for many different activities including motorcycle riding, snow skiing, scuba diving, and sky diving. He was also an excellent golfer, loved watching tennis matches, and traveled to several ATP tennis tournaments each year with his wife and daughter. He was also an avid collector of cars, the most prized of which was his beloved fully-restored 1979 Porsche 930 Turbo.
He and his family enjoyed traveling several times a year to multiple national parks in their RV. This allowed them to see so much of the United States as a family. He was also a very proud homeschool father to his daughter, Suri.
Tim was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He was well-respected by all who knew him. He was extremely outgoing and caring and could make friends with any stranger in minutes. He was frequently referred to by friends as "the nicest guy I've ever known." He had an amazing Southern sense of humor and loved making those around him laugh with references to television shows and movies.
Most importantly, Tim's faith was central to his life. He was a member of Forestgate Presbyterian Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He, together with his wife, led their daughter to the Lord in April 2021. He had the joy and privilege of baptizing her several months later. He was very intentional about leading his family's morning devotional time every day.
He is survived by his wife, Sandi Warner, and daughter, Suri René Warner of Colorado Springs, Colorado; stepsons Lane Bradshaw of Acton, California, Jaxon Bradshaw of Brooklyn, New York, and Kellan Bradshaw and Rylan Bradshaw both of Gilbert, Arizona; mother, Jeanie Warner Pate of Charlotte, North Carolina; father and mother-in-law, Tom and Wanda Eaton of Mesa, Arizona; brother, Mark Warner and his wife Cindy Warner of Birmingham, Alabama; sister, Kimberly Pate Silva and her husband Rom Silva of Mooresville, North Carolina; nephew, Nick Warner of Birmingham, Alabama, uncle, Allen Bennett and his wife Donna Bennett of Aberdeen, Mississippi; uncle, Charles Bennett and his wife Angela Bennett of Amory Mississippi; aunt, Becky Norris and her husband, Jim Norris, of Benson, Arizona; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Dean Warner, and grandparents Bud and Genevieve Warner and J.R. and Jane Bennett. He is also survived by his dearest, lifelong friend, Scott Foster who was like a brother to him.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 25, at Mountain View Funeral Home in Mesa, AZ. Visitation will be held from 11:00-12:00 followed by the service from 12:00-1:30. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 2:00 at Mesa Cemetary and a reception will follow from 2:30-5:00 at Sheraton Mesa Wrigleyville West.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Compassion International or Forestgate Presbyterian Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
