Tim was married to Denise (Hannum) Wells. They were high school sweethearts and blessed with a beautiful 40-year marriage. He was the sweetest, most loving husband - protective, loyal, and true. Together they raised a beautiful daughter, Jamie L. Wells (Columbus, OH).
He was a lifelong educator to his daughter on how to treat others and the value of hard work. His knowledge could fill bookshelves and he passed his wisdom on to her at any opportunity. Most importantly, he made sure she knew how much she was loved every single day of his life.
Tim strived to be a good human in all forms; it was important to him. He lived his life with honesty, integrity, kindness, grit, faith, and humor. He was never afraid to show his love and was a respected role model for many.
He was a 1981 graduate of Shenandoah High School and graduated from Nashville Auto Diesel College. He started his career as a mechanic in the oil and gas industry, but worked the majority of his years in heavy equipment parts and services. His current employer was Murphy Tractor & Equipment in Cambridge, OH where he spoke highly of all the people he worked with.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife and daughter, Denise and Jamie; his parents, Jim and Nancy; his brother Jim Wells (Denise) of Caldwell, OH; his brothers-in-law Darren Hannum (Lisa) of Eighty Four, PA, Derek Hannum (Patricia) of Orlando, FL, and Doug Hannum of Caldwell, OH; and so many loved nieces, nephews, and cousins. A fighter until the very end, he will be missed by all who knew him. We know he rests in the arms of God now.
A celebration of his life will be held at Kennonsburg Church, 57599 Kennonsburg Rd, Salesville, OH 43778 on Saturday, March 9th at 11:00am. The family invites you to this informal service to share stories and happy memories of his life. In lieu of flowers or gifts, please consider donating to his medical expenses.
