Timothy York

Tim went to be with our Saviour Jesus Christ on April 25, 2025 in Texas City, Texas. He was born on July 10, 1956 in Wharton, Texas to parents, Robert and Juanita Lewis York. Tim married Christina Marie Miller on April 17, 1978, with whom they shared forty-two years of marriage, until her passing on December 24, 2020.
Tim is survived by sons, Timothy and Benjamin York; daughter, Leslie York; grandkids, Gavin, Ryan, Amaya, and Alisa; sister, Diana Jordon; brothers, Mike and Robert "Butch" York.
Tim would be the first person in church. If he saw someone new, he would go over and introduce himself and ask them where they are from and make then feel welcome. He attended Bible Baptist Church in Galveston, Texas with his late wife, Chris. Both were
members for over forty years.
Tim was the church Treasurer for many years as well on taking on other rolls such as leading Sunday School and an helping with Vacation Bible School when the church used to host them and also performed in two church plays.
Later in life, Tim continued his education and received a PhD in Philosophy and also got ordained to be a Preacher. Tim is now in heaven singing praises to God and Saviour Jesus Christ next to his wife and our mother. He will be missed.
