Asheville, NC. Tina was born in Asheville, NC, on February 17, 1970, to Charles Beaman Cook, of
Asheville, NC, and Loretta Thelma Tate Cook, of Canton, NC, who survive her. She is also survived by her brother, Jonathan Andrew Cook, of Asheville, NC, and her longtime friend and partner, with whom she lived, Julie Merwine.
Tina received her BA from UNC Greensboro in Computer Science and Psychology. Throughout her life,
Tina enjoyed gardening, music, movies, and animals. She was employed in painting and acting. Tina was greatly loved and fiercy loved those around her. She will be greatly missed.
