Tina M. Denning-Scutella

Tina M. Denning – Scutella, age 60, of Millcreek passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026. She was born in Erie on July 17, 1965, a daughter of Robert Denning, Sr., and the late Mary Ann (Kanonczyk) Denning.
Tina worked as an operator at GTE and later Verizon. More recently she worked as an optician at Walmart alongside Dr. Brady.
She enjoyed spending time with family, spoiling her grandchildren and her pets, and watching game shows.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen P. "Scoots" Scutella, and her grandmother to whom she was very close, Agnes Kanonczyk.
She is survived by her father, Robert Denning, Sr., wife Kathy; daughter, Nicole Denning, husband Madjmar Mohamed; her grandchildren, Maxwell and Hudson Mohamed; brother Robert Denning, Jr., and a nephew Alexander Teribery. She is also survived by many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made out to the family, c/o Brugger Funeral Home.
Friends are invited to call on Sunday from 2 to 5 pm at the Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th Street. A service will be held there on Monday at 9:15am followed by a funeral mass at St. Paul Church, 1608 Walnut, at 10am. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
