Beverly A. Tait

Beverly A. Tait, 83, of Erie, PA, and Holly Hill, FL, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA on September 13, 1942, a daughter of the late, Samuel and Emma (Bridges) Camp.

Beverly attended Edinboro State College and taught art education at Fort LeBoeuf Middle School for many years. She enjoyed crafts, jigsaw puzzles, and sailing and was active in Al-Anon Family Groups.

In addition to her parents, Beverly is preceded in death by her husband, James Vanstone, and her husband, Newton Tait.

Beverly is survived by her daughter, Stacey Weber (Derrick); her grandson, Dylan Vanstone; and her devoted companion, Christopher Laird; as well as her sister, Audrey Schirra; her brother, Samuel Camp (Marlene); and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. 2607 Buffalo Rd. Erie, PA 16510 on Friday, April 3rd from 3 pm until 7 pm and on Saturday, April 4th from 10 am until the time of the Funeral Service at 11 am. Burial will follow at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
