Tina Mae Harrell, age 50, a resident of Forest died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3pm from the chapel of the OTT & LEE Funeral Home in Forest with interment to follow in the Clifton Cemetery. Bro. Joey Griffin will officiate. Visitation will be held from 1pm till 3pm prior to the service.
Tina was born in Jackson, MS to her parents Bobby Thornton and Willie Mae Thornton on January 17, 1972, in Jackson, MS. A member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and grandmother. Tina enjoyed spending time with her family, and friends. She loved to host cook-outs, family dinners, and entertain. She loved the outdoors, flowering, and gardening. Tina was a lovely woman in every way. She always enjoyed taking care of others. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Mark Harrell of the Clifton community, her daughter Courtney Nelson and husband Blake also of Clifton, and a grand-daughter; Maely Nelson She also leaves behind a sister, Patricia Thornton, and a brother Jeff Thornton both of the Cooperville community. Tina also leaves behind a host of friends.
