OXFORD – Tina Marie (Fiorentino) Howard, 63, passed away suddenly on Saturday, Dec. 14th with her loving husband and family by her side.
Tina leaves her husband of 44 years, David L. Howard; two children, Jas and Brian Howard; her mother, Irene (Lemieux) Fiorentino; two siblings, Michael Fiorentino and his wife, Janet and Nancy Russo; a sister in law, Kathy Boggs and her husband, Brian; a brother in law, Charles W. Howard, Jr.; two aunts, Mary (Fiorentino) Howard and Joan Fiorentino; two nephews, David Boggs and Mathew Boggs; two nieces, Angela Fiorentino and Diana Fiorentino; many other cousins, family and friends. She is predeceased by her father, Michael V. Fiorentino.
Tina was born in Worcester, grew up in Auburn and graduated from Auburn High School. Tina was thoughtful, loving, caring, generous and a compassionate person. When her children were small, she was known as the neighborhood Mom, she even took in one of her son’s friends when he had nowhere else to go. Life was not always easy for Tina, but she was always smiling, even though she was constantly in pain from suffering many years with near crippling rheumatoid arthritis.
Tina always had a smile and kind word for anyone she met. She was a fierce fighter for her family and things she believed in. Tina was deeply loved by her family and all that knew her. In the summer, her pool was always open to family and friends that would like to cool off and it was where she enjoyed relaxing in the warmth of the sun.
Family and friends will remember and celebrate Tina’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Saturday, Dec. 21st from 2 to 4 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street, Millbury. Her funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. in the funeral home.
The family requests that flowers be omitted and memorial contributions may be made in Tina’s name to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org or American Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org
