With unshakable strength and a heart that gave endlessly, Tina Renee Perry lived a life of love, resilience, and devotion. She was born on November 9th, 1963, and after a courageous battle that began in February 2022, she passed on September 20th, 2025, leaving behind a legacy that will never be forgotten.

Tina was a mother above all else. She poured every ounce of her being into raising her four children, Stevie Janet Mangum Perry, Terrell Andrew Perry, Chetarah Lee Perry, and Shakon Adam Perry. Even in the hardest times, when there was little to give, she gave it anyway. If it meant her children could eat, she would spend her last dollar without hesitation. She shielded them from hunger, from fear, and from despair, filling their lives instead with laughter, lessons, and love. In a world where she often had nothing, she managed to give them everything that truly mattered. She raised them to be respectful, to care deeply for others, and to understand the strength that comes from compassion.

For more than 25 years, Tina worked in hospitality, but caring for others was not a job for her, it was who she was. Her home, her heart, and her hands were always open. She was the kind of woman who would step into your kitchen and cook you a meal, who would help clean your home without being asked, who would watch over your children as if they were her own. She carried a light within her that made people feel safe, loved, and understood. Her presence was a gift, and the loss of that presence will be felt by every life she touched.

Tina was also a woman of spirit and joy. She could dance the night away, moving with a rhythm that seemed to come from her soul. She loved the songs of her youth, but she also laughed and sang along to new ones she had no business listening to but enjoyed just the same. She had her simple pleasures that became part of her signature. A hot cup of Maxwell House coffee to start her day. A crisp white tee, blue washed jeans, and all white sneakers that became her uniform, a style that was as effortless and genuine as she was. Tina was proof that beauty could be found in both strength and simplicity.

Her journey with cancer revealed the same truth her life always had. She was resilient. She was determined. She fought with courage, never allowing her spirit to be broken. Even in pain, she carried love at the center of everything, never letting her illness define her but instead showing everyone what it means to face hardship with grace and fight.

At this time, we bow our heads in a moment of silence to remember Tina. To remember her love, her laughter, her rhythm, her resilience, and above all the way she was nothing short of phenomenal.

Tina's love also lives on in her grandchildren, Anaizah M. Perry, Jalissa L. Perry-Lawrence, and Aniyah Tina-Marie Perry, who were the light of her later years. Her love extended to her many nieces and nephews who adored her guidance and laughter, and to her close friends and acquaintances who felt the warmth of her care. Whether family by blood or by bond, Tina had a way of making everyone feel like they belonged, and her love reached far beyond the walls of her home.

Her passing leaves a silence that words cannot fill, but her life leaves a story that will never be forgotten. Those who knew Tina will carry her memory not only in their minds but in the ways they love, in the ways they give, and in the ways they live their lives with compassion, just as she taught us.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, October 1st from 10 am -12 pm in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield, RI 02879. Immediately following calling hours, a funeral service will be held at 12 pm.
