Timothy John Meadows Fant, age 69, passed from this earth on Saturday October 11, 2025. He had a degenerative bone disease which caused him lifelong pain. He died at home when his heart gave way. He was born in Brantford Ontario, Canada on April 26, 1956. After the death of his father in1996 he lived in Newark, Ohio with his mother and then moved with her to Temple Terrace, Florida in 2013. He provided end of life care for her until 2020 when she passed.
Tim was born to John and Mary Fant in Canada while his father was preaching for a congregation in Brantford. He is survived by one uncle, Don Meadows and his wife Dot, two sisters, Connie Fannin and her husband Tim, Victoria Pratt and her husband Wayne Proco and one brother, Jay Fant. Also surviving him are three nieces, Jessica Johnson and her husband Matt, Madi and Morgan Fant and three nephews, JT and Tim Fannin and Garrett Fant. He is additionally survived by two great nieces, Lily and Addie Johnson, and seven great nephews, Titus Johnson, Isaac, Noah, Elliot, Grady, Caleb and Daniel Fannin. He is preceded in death by both parents, two uncles on his mother's side, seven aunt's and one uncle on his father's side.
He spent most of his working life in the restaurant business. He loved and spent as much time as possible with family in his last years.
A service will be held at two o'clock, Saturday, November 1, 2025, with the "Christians that Meet Here" at 18308 Livingston Avenue, Lutz, FL, 33559. Tim was a member of good standing with this group. He will be missed by many.
