Tirsa Ismary Gonzalez, 52, of Los Angeles, California, passed away on July 19, 2025 due to complications of her health. Tirsa was born on February 15, 1973 in San Salvador, El Salvador, the daughter of Carmen Quintanilla and Oscar Gaitan.

Remaining to cherish Tirsa's memory are Ismary, her daughter; David, her son; Jonathan, Carlos, and Walter, her brothers; Ethan, her grandson; Carmen, her mother; and all her extended family here in Los Angeles.

Tirsa obtained her GED and went on to ITT Tech College earning her bachelor's in computer science as valedictorian of her class. She worked a variety of jobs to take care of her household, including her 2 kids all while going to school.

She belonged to a couple of parishes, including St. Rose of Lima (Maywood, CA), St. Gertrude (Bell Gardens, CA), and St. Marcellinus (Commerce, CA).

Tirsa loved to read, knit/crochet, and spend lots of time with God-whether that be praying the rosary or reading and studying the bible. Before her health was in decline, she loved to run and keep active with her dog, Osito. Tirsa had such a contagious smile and joy that would radiate. Tirsa loved her family so much and always prayed for them, especially her kids.
