Toby Caroline Marx

Toby Caroline Marx, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2025, in South Jordan, Utah, at the age of 86.

Born in St. Louis, Missouri on August 7, 1939, Toby made Concord, California her home for most of her life. She was the beloved wife of the late Ronald Marx, and the devoted mother of Rick Marx (Jessica), Les Marx (Laurette), and Linda Beaty (Dan). She was a proud grandmother to Christina Marlin (Kyle), Robert Beaty, Andrew Marx (Katelyn), Natasha Marx, and Savannah Marx; and a loving great-grandmother to Wyatt Marlin, Harper Marlin, and Eric Marx.

Toby retired from Holbrook Elementary School in Concord, where she was known for her dedication, kindness, and warm smile. She was a proud member of the Red Hat Society, an avid bowler, and a passionate Hummel figurine collector. Her joyful spirit, sense of humor, and care for others will long be remembered by all who knew her.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Monday, November 3, 2025, from 11:00a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Ouimet Bros. Funeral Chapel, 4125 Clayton Road,

Concord, CA 94521.

A graveside service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Concord, California.
