Todd Eric Cason

Todd Eric Cason, 60 of Fort White, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024 at the St. Vincent's Riverside Center in Jacksonville. Mr. Cason was born in Lake City, Florida, was a resident of Fort White all of his life and was of the Baptist faith. He was a graduate of Columbia High School class of 1981. Mr. Cason worked for the Florida Department of Corrections at the Mayo Correctional Institute retiring with 33 years of service. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and truly loved being outdoors. His greatest time was spent with his family and being the best "G-Daddy" to his grandchildren. Mr. Cason was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Allen Cason; and one granddaughter, Maci Potter.
Survivors include his children, Sidney Bissanti (Mike), Tampa and Brent Cason (Karlee), Fort White; his mother, Helen Cason, Fort White; four siblings, Linda Huggins (Mickey), Gainesville, Sandy Webb (Jeff), Santa Rosa Beach, Sharon Richardson (Pete), Fort White and Craig Cason, Fort White; seven grandchildren, Aidan, Breanna, Dallas, Alyssa, Gavin, Tuff and Presley.
A memorial service honoring the life of Mr. Cason will be conducted on Friday, June 14, 2024 at 2:00 PM in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel. A time of visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice in Jacksonville in memory of Mr. Cason.
