Todd Michael Steger

Todd Michael Steger, 71, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at Heart to Heart Hospice in Troy, Michigan. He was born May 19, 1953, in Fort Riley, Kansas to the late Barbara (Kubacki) and Richard D. Steger. Todd was a 1971 graduate of St. Francis de Sales High School and 1975 graduate of the University of Toledo. He retired from a 30+ year career in engineering management at Thyssen Krupp in 2018. He spent the last few years of his life with his partner Patty Thomas, cruising the Great Loop on his boat and splitting time between his homes on Pelee Island and Punta Gorda, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Susan. Surviving are his son Jason, daughter, Jaime (Geoff) Wolanski, and granddaughters Iris and Eloise.
