Harold served on the Morton Volunteer Fire Department as a volunteer firefighter for 22 years. He was employed by Cochran County and worked for Precinct 1 for 44 years. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Brigette Baldwin; his parents; a sister, Linda Hatter; and a great-grandson, Canyon Cason.
Harold is survived by his wife, Twylla Blackstock of Morton; his daughter, Sharon Thursby and her husband, Vic of Corydon, Indiana; his son, Les Blackstock and his wife, Melinda of Morton, Texas; a son-in-law, Chris Baldwin of Morton, Texas; a sister, Brenda Enos of Lubbock, Texas; a brother, Maurice Blackstock of Wolfforth, Texas; and his nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be sent to New Life Ministries Church, 634 State Highway 214, Morton, Texas, 79346.
